Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Kavvara (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with your use of Wakelight (the “App”), available on iPhone and Android.

Your progress never leaves your device

Wakelight has no accounts and no servers. Your levels, stars, currencies, settings and purchases are saved on your phone and nowhere else.

1. The Short Version

Wakelight is a game you play on your own device. It needs no account, works offline, and we run no servers that receive anything about you or how you play. The only data that leaves your device is what Google’s advertising service collects in the free version, described in section 6, and what Apple or Google handle when you buy something.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number or any account details — Wakelight has no accounts
  • Your contacts, photos or files
  • Your precise location
  • Usage analytics — we do not measure how you play

3. What Stays on Your Device

The App saves your progress in its own storage on your device: levels, stars and best scores, stardust, emeralds and other in-game items, the powers, trails and companions you have unlocked, your settings and language, and a record of the purchases you own so they keep working offline. A replay of your best run on each level (the “ghost”) is stored the same way. None of this is sent to us, and it is removed when you delete the App.

4. Reminders & Sharing

If you allow notifications, the App schedules gentle reminders (for example, that a daily reward is waiting) as local notifications on your device. They are created on the device and no server is involved.

If you share a score, the App creates the image on your device and hands it to your phone’s share sheet. It contains only your result, and it goes only where you choose to send it.

5. Crash Reports

The App does not send crash reports to us. If you have turned on sharing of analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may share anonymous crash logs with us, as they do for every app.

6. Advertising

The free version of Wakelight is supported by ads served through Google AdMob: a banner on menu screens, an occasional full-screen ad between levels or runs, an ad when you come back to the App after a while, and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch, for example to continue a run. Ads never appear in the middle of a level. The Google Mobile Ads SDK is part of the App, and it — not Kavvara — collects data to serve and measure ads. According to Google’s own disclosures, that includes your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device information such as model and operating system version, an advertising or app-scoped device identifier, and how you interact with ads.

We see only aggregate reporting, such as how many ads were shown. VIP (monthly or lifetime) removes advertising entirely, including rewarded ads.

7. Your Choices About Advertising

On iPhone, Wakelight does not ask for permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites, so iOS does not give Google your advertising identifier and the ads you see are not personalised using it.

On Android, Google may use your device’s advertising ID according to your device settings. You can reset it or delete it at any time in your phone’s Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you will be shown Google’s consent choice before ads are personalised, and you can change that choice later.

8. Purchases

VIP, emerald and stardust packs and bundles are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase on iPhone and Google Play Billing on Android. Apple or Google processes the payment and confirms the purchase on your device. We never receive your payment details or your Apple or Google account, and we do not use any third-party purchase service.

9. Permissions

The only permission Wakelight may ask for is Notifications, for the reminders in section 4. The App also uses your device’s vibration for haptic feedback, which you can turn off in the App’s settings. You can change any permission in your device’s settings.

10. Third-Party Services

These are the only third parties involved:

How Google uses information from apps that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

11. Your Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Where processing relies on consent — as personalised advertising does — you may withdraw it at any time.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share your personal information.

In practice we hold nothing about you: Wakelight has no accounts and your progress never leaves your device. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, please use Google’s own controls, linked above.

12. Children

Wakelight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

13. Changes & Contact

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be reflected in the App Store and Google Play privacy details for Wakelight.

Questions about this policy, or a request about your data, can be sent to hello@kavvara.com.
