Pyxis
Private Photo Vault
Most vault apps hide your photos behind a passcode and a list of albums anyone can see. Pyxis encrypts everything on your iPhone and opens it with a pattern you draw — each pattern opens its own hidden vault, and there is nothing to show that a vault exists until you draw the right one.
Only your pattern can open it.

A vault, not a hidden album
Everything is encrypted on your device before it is stored, with keys only your pattern can unlock.
A pattern opens the vault
Draw your pattern and your vault opens. Each pattern opens its own vault, and Pyxis never shows a list of them — so nobody can tell how many you have, or whether there are any at all.
Encrypted on your iPhone
Photos, videos, files, notes and even file names are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored. The keys come from your pattern and never leave the device.
Duress patternPro
Forced to open the app? A second pattern opens a harmless decoy vault and quietly erases the others. To anyone watching, it looks like an ordinary unlock.
Encrypted iCloud backup & sync
Keep an encrypted copy in your own iCloud, free. With Pro, sync between iPhone and iPad too. Apple only ever stores scrambled data; the keys stay with you.
Share a vault securelyPro
Share a vault with a 9-word phrase. Set an expiry date, limit how many times it can be opened, make it view-only, and revoke it whenever you like.
Disguise and safety netsPro
Swap the icon for a calculator, notes or weather look. Recently Deleted keeps deletions for 7 days, and Check & Repair verifies every file and restores damaged ones from your backup.
Nobody can see inside — not even us
Pyxis has no accounts. Your files are encrypted on your iPhone with keys that come from your pattern, and those keys are never sent anywhere. Backups and shared vaults only ever contain encrypted data, so we have nothing we could read.
The free version shows ads, never on the lock screen or next to your photos. Exactly what that involves is set out in the Privacy Policy, and how Pyxis Pro works is covered in the Terms of Use. Questions? Visit Pyxis Support.
