Nothing is deleted until you confirm
Deleted photos and videos wait in Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days. Contact merges are permanent, so review them before you merge.

1. These Terms
These Terms of Use apply when you use Sweep (the “App”), published by Kavvara. By using the App you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
They should be read alongside the Sweep Privacy Policy, which explains what happens to data.
2. Your Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store’s usage rules.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App, resell or redistribute it, or remove or obscure any notices within it — except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
3. Your Photos Stay Yours
We claim no ownership of your photos, videos or contacts. Sweep works with them on your iPhone and we never receive them, so we do not license, analyse or use them for anything.
4. Deleting, Compressing & Merging
You decide what is deleted. Sweep suggests what could go — similar shots, blurry photos, large videos and so on — but these are suggestions made automatically and they can be wrong. Please look before you confirm.
Photos and videos you delete move to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where you can recover them for 30 days. After that, or if you empty Recently Deleted yourself, they are gone for good. If you use iCloud Photos, deleting an item removes it from iCloud and your other devices too.
Compressing a video or turning a Live Photo into a still saves a new, smaller copy and then deletes the original once you confirm. The copy is not identical to the original: compressed videos are re-encoded at 1080p, and stills no longer contain the motion clip.
Merging contacts combines duplicate cards into one and deletes the others. Contact merges cannot be undone from within Sweep, so keep a backup of your contacts (for example in iCloud) if they matter to you.
5. Sweep Pro, Subscriptions & Purchases
Sweep is free to use, with daily limits. Sweep Pro removes those limits and advertising, and unlocks video compression, Live Photo conversion, one-tap clean-up of every set of similar shots and unlimited contact merges. It is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you confirm anything, in your own currency, and are set per region by the App Store.
How auto-renewal works. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the price for your selected plan.
Managing or cancelling. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period you have paid for ends.
The lifetime purchase is a single payment, not a subscription. It does not renew and cannot lapse.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Apple processes every payment for Sweep, and we never receive or see your payment details.
Restoring purchases. On a new device or after reinstalling, use Restore on the Sweep Pro screen or in Settings to recover what you have already bought. You will not be asked to pay twice.
6. The Free Plan, Advertising & Rewards
The free plan is supported by advertising and has daily limits on deletions, undos and some tools. You may optionally watch a rewarded ad to raise a limit — for example, more deletions for the day or unlimited undo for a while — up to the caps shown in the App. Watching one is always a choice, never a requirement.
Advertising is served by Google AdMob. What it collects, and the choices available to you, are set out in the Privacy Policy. Sweep Pro removes advertising entirely.
Free limits, reward amounts and caps may change as the product develops. We will not reduce something you have already paid for or earned.
7. Acceptable Use
Use the App lawfully and only on photos and contacts you are entitled to manage. Do not use the App to break the law or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any system.
8. Availability & Changes
We may update the App, add or remove features, and change how things work. Where a change materially affects a paid entitlement, we will act in good faith and will not take away something you have already paid for.
Support depends on iOS versions that change over time; we may end support for older versions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App, or that it will find every item you might want to remove.
9. Disclaimers & Liability
The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will meet every requirement, or that it will be free of defects.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kavvara is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data — including photos, videos or contacts you chose to delete, merge or replace, or that were permanently removed after leaving Recently Deleted.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Changes & Contact
If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@kavvara.com.
